Portfolio Managers

At Charles Fleming Co., Ltd. we employ over 64 portfolio managers worldwide. We want our portfolio managers to get a world perspective and so training in the primary functions of either fixed income or equities are conducted through our core investment affiliations in London, New York, Tokyo and Zurich.

Our portfolio managers form an integral part of the investment process and are primarily responsible for selecting, what they believe are, the most attractive stocks within each sector working with Charles Fleming Co., Ltd. in house analysts. Furthermore, the portfolio managers are responsible for sector and country weightings within client specific risk control parameters.

In order to facilitate the rapid flow of information between Charles Fleming Co., Ltd. global offices and affiliations, daily conference calls are held in which analysts report on important news in their sectors. Portfolio managers utilize this information to help themselves understand where the markets are heading as well as to keep them updated on all company, sector and economic news.

Research/Credit Analysts

Sales and Marketing

Our sales and marketing people are primarily responsible for obtaining new client mandates and increasing the funds under management from existing clients. They sell a comprehensive range of Charles Fleming Co., Ltd. investment products from a number of different geographical locations. Within the business we have two broad marketing functions: direct marketing and sales, and marketing services.

  • Marketing services are responsible for the production of new business proposals and utilize desk top publishing tools to create presentations and fact sheets.
